Since founding the company in early 2019, Mr. Shainberg has been integral in building a growing multifamily portfolio across the United States. Prior to his role at ShainRealty, Mr. Shainberg ran a boutique real estate commercial brokerage firm, MSP Group, focusing on multifamily transactions in South Florida. Elliot’s work ethic and commitment to his clientele was punctuated by the more than $100 million and 900 units in closed deals achieved in the first full calendar year of 2015. Dedicated to maximum performance, Elliot flourished by repeatedly taking business from national competitors while being a creative deal maker. Elliot began his career at Marcus & Millichap’s Ft. Lauderdale office, where he focused exclusively on multifamily. Mr. Shainberg was awarded the firm’s top selling multifamily agent in their Miami office during the economic downturn of 2009. Elliot has been in the multifamily business since 2003 and has closed on the sale of nearly 6,500 multifamily units in his career. Born in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Shainberg is a graduate of Yeshiva University in New York City where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Political Science.

Prior to his role at ShainRealty, Mr. Shainberg worked for Meridian Capital Group, a national real estate commercial brokerage firm specializing in multifamily properties in New York City. During his tenure, Mr. Shainberg was responsible for handling all aspects of the deal transaction from sourcing & underwriting to property tours & closing. In 2019, Mr. Shainberg had closed over $300 million worth of assets and was awarded Commercial Observer’s 30 under 30 for Top Professionals in New York Real Estate. Mr. Shainberg began his career at RBC Capital Markets on the Real Estate Investment Banking desk, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, and advisory and valuations. Jonathan has been in the multifamily business since late 2012 and has closed on the sale of nearly 2,200 multifamily units in his career, developing many new and long-lasting client relationships. Born in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Shainberg is a graduate of Boston University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Finance and Economics.
